Most convention networking events involve a room, a bar, and a lot of standing around. This one involved skee-ball.
On Tuesday night of the 2026 HFTP Annual Convention, Jonas Club Software sponsored the HFTP Young Professionals Meet-up at Peppermill’s Game Lab in Reno, and the arcade lit up. Racing games, basketball hoops, air hockey, ticket jackpots, and a room full of finance and technology professionals who quickly discovered that spreadsheets and high scores require the same competitive streak.
The Jonas team did not stay on the sidelines. Our leaders and team members were on the machines all night, and the results were mixed. There were some surprisingly strong racing times, a few questionable free-throw percentages, and at least one rivalry that probably needs a rematch in 2027.
The loot drop

Every arcade night needs tokens, so ours came with a twist. In the days before the meet-up, attendees received exclusive co-branded Jonas x HFTP Young Professionals poker chips. Flip one over and there was a QR code pointing to jonasclub.com/yp, a page built for the occasion (arcade theme included) with the event details and one very good reason to show up early.
That reason was a co-branded Thule backpack, waiting for the first 50 young professionals to check in at the arcade. Word travelled fast. The line formed early, the backpacks went quickly, and a lot of people spent the rest of the night with a new bag over one shoulder and a stack of tickets in the other hand.
Everyone plays
The Young Professionals Meet-up gives early-career club professionals a chance to meet peers without a name-badge script, and nothing breaks the ice faster than losing to a stranger at air hockey. By the end of the night, the conversations happening around the machines were just as lively as the ones happening at them.

Why we show up for this
Jonas Club Software sponsors the HFTP Young Professionals group because the people in that arcade will be running club finance and technology operations in the years ahead. The relationships they build now, over a racing wheel or a ticket counter, tend to last well beyond the convention.
Bonus round
The arcade was not the only place people were racking up points this week. Back at the Jonas table, the two games everyone wanted to play were Payments and Analytics.
Player 1
Jonas Payments
Skip the coin slot. Integrated club payments connect directly to membership, accounting, and point of sale, so every transaction lands where it belongs the first time. No manual re-entry, no reconciliation boss fight.

Jonas Analytics
Every arcade has a leaderboard. Analytics gives your club one for the numbers that matter, with dashboards and reporting leadership can trust without stitching spreadsheets together at month end.
Insert token: AnalyticsPlay them together and you get the full combo: one connected platform where the data flows and the finance team gets their time back.
Thanks to HFTP, to Peppermill’s Game Lab, and to every young professional who came out to play. Bragging rights are still up for grabs, and so is the top of the leaderboard.
See you at the next level.
